ANNUAL LOBSTER LUAU ON AUGUST 7

Judd’s Hill event features The Maikai Gents

Napa Valley, California, summer 2010—Judd’s Hill winery announces its fourth annual Lobster Luau on Saturday, August 7, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Proprietor/winemaker/ukulele master Judd Finkelstein’s band The Maikai Gents will perform their repertoire of Hawaiian songs while guests enjoy a magnificent feast of lobster, seafood, sausage and assorted veggies and wear “island attire.” This year the event will include a vintage aloha-wear fashion show and marketplace so people can acquire their attire on the spot. Tickets are $120/person in advance to 707/255-2332 or $85/person for members of the winery’s Wine Club.

Beginning as garage winemakers, pioneering vintners, the Finkelstein family has been producing legendary wines in the Napa Valley since the 1970s. Bunnie, Judd and Holly Finkelstein continue to hand-craft ultra-premium wines with the same passionate and intimate style that has been their signature for over 30 years.

Another side of Judd’s Hill is MicroCrush (http://www.napamicrocrush.com), a custom winemaking service. Since 1992, MicroCrush has been making small lots, as little as one barrel, of hand-crafted customized wine for a range of clients, from vineyard owners to wine enthusiasts.
